Community Resiliency Model® Workshops
Do you…..
Wish you could be less stressed out and more resilient?
Want to feel more in control of your emotions and less overwhelmed by life?
Wish you could get your body and mind to really relax?
Worry about the toll chronic stress is taking on your body and your health?
Have tight muscles that never really unclench no matter how much you stretch?
Meet CRM®
The Community Resiliency Model® aka CRM teaches people simple, easy-to-use, body-based skills to help them navigate the stressors of everyday life with more ease and resilience.
These skills can help you feel more in control of your emotions and navigate uncomfortable emotions or sensations without going into overwhelm.
In my practice and daily life, I use CRM skills all the time. These skills help me stay calm when my kids are losing it. They help me manage the stressors of grad school and they help me stay calm, present and focused with my clients.
CRM skills are the first thing I teach all of my counseling clients. They help my clients decrease anxiety, reduce muscle tension, feel more relaxed in their bodies, and increase their ability to notice positive change.

My clients consistently report how helpful they find these skills. They feel empowered and appreciate having something they can do in between sessions to get relief and help themselves. CRM skills also help my clients get through uncomfortable and challenging sessions with less overwhelm.
CRM is an evidence-based model that has been taught to individuals and communities around the world and to people of all ages and walks of life.
CRM was developed by Elaine Miller-Karas, co-founder of the Trauma Resource Institute. This model is designed to support people's resilience and help them recover from stress or trauma more quickly. CRM gives people an understanding of the biology of their stress response and teaches people simple, easy-to-use, body-based skills to reduce distress and increase well-being.
About the Online Workshop
This is a live, interactive, psychoeducational workshop that will introduce you to the biology of your stress response and teach you body-based skills that you can use for yourself, as well as your friends and family.
This workshop is designed to provide you with “hands-on” experience using the CRM skills in a supportive environment.
You will laugh, learn, and come away with valuable skills to support you and your loved ones during these challenging times.

how to recognize when you are in or out of your Resilient Zone
practical, easy-to-use skills to help you expand your Resilient Zone and return to it more quickly when you’re out
what really runs the show when you experience trauma or are under stress (hint: it's not your thinking brain)
